Leasing Horses
Monthly Leases
IHCYR offers horses for lease. The lease terms will be for one day a week per lease. Each individual selects a day for their lease. If you would like to lease the same horse for more than one day, the fee for the lease will need to reflect that. In order to care for the horses through the school and overall cost, it is necessary that we lease the horses to more than one person or more than one day. Cost for each horse is very high, therefore it is necessary to make these changes. This way we can decide how many horses to keep in the school or put up for adoption.
We would love to have everyone have a horse for as many hours as they would like, but it is not possible.
The days available are Sunday through Wednesday.
The new feed schedule for the horses is set before dark, therefore the horses will need to be put up before 5pm for feeding. Please do not feed your lease or boarded horses at any time, to prevent overfeeding.
Your leases help to support the needs for the horses at IHCYR. It help to off set: feed, bedding, farrier, shots, worming, teeth floating, vet care/supplies and some tack purchases for IHCYR.
Lease is $100 a month.
Guidelines for leasing horses are:
| Lease Horses: | Available hours other than youth ranch and private lesson times, please check the
schedule for the horse you are leasing.

Ruby, our beloved Ruby, she twisted her intestine this year, She was here for her loved Gabrielle, then God gave her wings to fly. We all miss her greatly!
We have red roses planted for her, all of us still shed tears for her, She was "The Ruby Bean."
Tanya, recently due to lameness, with the onset of winter had to give her wings as well. It is so hard, I like to think of these as coming back with Jesus, I know my loved mare will be as well, Barsan Lou and Sheba, for my son.
There have been several others that have come to IHCYR to care for, and for illness, painful lameness all have wings and fly. God gives them wings!
